Dermatology Partners is seeking a dedicated and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team in Rochester, MN. As we expand our clinical operations, we are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative dermatology environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Support: Front desk registration, answering phone calls, assist providers with dermatological procedures, including biopsies and excisions, ensuring adherence to standardized documentation and safety protocols.
- Patient Care: Perform patient intake, rooming, and vitals, maintaining a warm and efficient patient experience.
- Lab & Order Management: Manage laboratory orders, including Accutane screening protocols and tracking outside lab results.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain clinic supplies, stock exam rooms, and ensure clinical spaces are organized and ready for daily operations.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for patient inquiries, handling phone and portal communications with professionalism and empathy.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Experience in a dermatology or similar specialty practice is preferred but ot required. We will train the right person.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and patient privacy (HIPAA compliance).
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to follow standardized clinical and administrative protocols.
